DIY Burlap Wreath Using a Wire Hanger {tutorial}

This has to be one of my favorite wreaths
EVERRRR!!!

Why?

1 ~ Because it was easy!
2 ~ Because it was inexpensive!
and 3 ~ Because it makes my Pantry Door look Fantabulous!!!

...remember my Pantry Door?

PURPLE!!!!
AAARGHHH!!!

Well, remember how I said I wasn't done with it?!?

Well...now I am!

And I'm totally thrilled with it!

I took a wire hanger...or rather, Boo~Bear took a wire hanger...and shaped it into a circle.

I then took 3 yards of Burlap (on sale for $2.00 a yard) and cut them into strips...
see my How To Cut Burlap tute HERE!

Once I had my strips, I simply folded them onto each other...

Slid them onto the wire hanger and wrapped the ends of the hanger around each other
...to close the loop.

I then attached my burlap floral bow with some hot glue...

Took the excess ribbon and attached it to my spice rack
{you could use any sort of hook for this}

With the top shelf empty...

With the top shelf full...

Once I had the wreath hanging, I twisted the folds of burlap to go in all different directions so it didn't look so flat...

even left some stings hangin'...

And there it is...my cute Burlap Wreath on my RED Pantry Door!!!
