After much deliberation, and a load of personal reflection, I've decided to leave the wonders of blog world behind me. I will leave the blog up until the end of August 2012 so everyone can print off their favorite tutorials/recipes.

Chick-a-dees and Floppy

Chick-a-dees and Floppy
on a PEDESTAL...

What you'll need:

1 sheet of orange felt
1 sheet of pink felt
1 sheet of white felt
Wood eggs
Mini wood candlesticks
White and yellow paint
**Ignore the feathers **

I used American Acrylic Paint
~ Cadmium Yello
~ Warm White

Who knew I'd ever pull out my scrapbook chalk again...LOVE my I KAN DEE

 Instructions:

1 ~ Paint your pieces...one candlestick for each egg

{boy am I a messy painter or what?}

2 ~ Sand/distress after paint is dry

For FLOPPY:

~ Cut four strips of white
~ Fold in half

~ Cut ear out {I free-handed it but you could draw the ears on the felt first if you'd like}

~ Repeat with pink felt but make each piece smaller
~ Glue pieces together

~ Glue ears onto the back of the bunny head
~ Cut small pieces of pink felt in the shape of a heart and glue on the face as a nose
~ Draw eyes and a smile
~ Sand egg some more {distress the face you just drew}
~ Use the chalk to pink up the cheeks a littl

For CHICK-A-DEE:

~ Cut triangles out of the orange felt
~ Glue on face
~ Draw eyes
~ Cut two more triangles, fold in half, and glue on back
{like a chick-a-dee mohawk}

~ Glue eggs (or heads) onto candlesticks
~ Embellish as much as you want

And VOILA!!!
